The two officers were hit by a green Citroen driven

were dealing with reports of looting at the Aristocrats
clothing store.

Police said today that both officers were hospitalised
and are now recovering at their homes. One suffered knee and
leg injuries and one had shoulder injuries.

Police said a 28-year-old man is in custody after being
