Arun Jaitley meets Narendra Modi

Ahmedabad: Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha and one of BJP`s main strategists Arun Jaitley on Thursday met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the strategy for the next phase of the party`s assembly poll campaign which begins from Monday.

"Jaitleyji is here to discuss the strategy ahead for the next phase of campaigning," BJP sources said. Jaitley held a meeting with the Chief Minister in Gandhinagar after he arrived in the evening and then visited the party headquarters. Campaigning is expected to pick up from Monday after a few days` lull due to Diwali and Gujarati New Year. PTI
