At least one dead in ongoing attack on Mali hotel: Military sources

The Malian army was trying Friday to end an armed attack on a hotel in the centre of the country which has already left one person dead, military sources said.

Bamako: The Malian army was trying Friday to end an armed attack on a hotel in the centre of the country which has already left one person dead, military sources said.

The army has surrounded the hotel in Sevare, located more than 600 kilometres (370 miles) north of the capital Bamako, after gunmen stormed the building and a body could be seen lying in front of the building, the two sources said.
