Washington: US President Barack Obama wiped away his tears as he thanked members and volunteers of his campaign for their great work after winning the White House race against GOP rival Mitt Romney.
A new video released by his campaign shows Obama addressing members of his staff at his Chicago headquarters. According to CBS News, in the five-minute video, Obama spoke about his work as a community organiser in Chicago and told staffers and volunteers that they will do ‘amazing things’ in their lives. Obama became emotional when he said that even before the election results, he felt the work he had done ‘had come full circle’. He told staff members that he is proud of the work they did, then paused to wipe away his tears. ANI
