Rome: A parliamentary committee is
examining an additional 200 pages assembled by the Milan
prosecutors investigating Premier Silvio Berlusconi on
suspicion he paid for sex with a 17-year-old Moroccan girl.
The committee has to decide whether to allow a search
of some of Berlusconi`s properties. A decision might come
The new documents reportedly include wiretaps of
conversations between young women who went to parties at the
Italian leader`s villa, alleged evidence of payments to them
and reports from police searches conducted earlier this month
at some of the women`s homes.
The prosecutors had already sent the parliamentary
committee almost 400 pages of documents. Berlusconi denies
wrongdoing, and has called the allegations "outrageous."
