Bauchi: Islamist militants Boko Haram attacked the northern city of Gombe on Saturday forcing residents of the area to flee.
According to BBC, witnesses have confirmed hearing explosions and gunfire in the area.
The Nigerian military is currently attempting to fight the militants.
