British Prime Minister David Cameron called an emergency meeting following the crash of a Malaysian airliner in rebel-held east Ukraine carrying 295 people.

London: British Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday called an emergency meeting following the crash of a Malaysian airliner in rebel-held east Ukraine carrying 295 people.
"There is a Cobra meeting to take place 10:30 am (0930 GMT)," said a spokesman for Cameron`s Downing Street office, referring to the government’s crisis committee.
Nine Britons were on the doomed jet, according to Malaysian Airlines.
