London: A radio show host in Canada was fired from his job after he had asked a Canadian politician how it felt to be a sexually attractive mother.
JetFM DJ Justin ``Drex`` Wilcomes had asked British Colombia premier Christy Clark the leading question after a male listener submitted it during the on-air interview, the Daily Mail reports.
The 47-year-old mother of one seemed surprised by the question, which used the acronym MILF, a vulgar term referencing a mother’s sex appeal.
Clark laughed, and replied that she would take it as a compliment, adding it was better for her to be a MILF than a cougar, which is a term used to mean an older woman who seeks the company of much younger men.
JetFM, a rock radio station that serves the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, on Friday said it had released Justin ``Drex`` Wilcomes from his employment contract, the paper reported.
The politician’s office said it had neither complained about the DJ’s conduct, nor sought his sacking, the paper added.
Wilcomes had no comment to make on Friday, but said he told a local radio station that he did what was expected of him as an FM radio station host and called the termination an overreaction, the paper concluded.
