China gets 10 new generals

 China has promoted 10 senior military and armed police officers to generals, the highest rank for officers in active service in the country.

Beijing: China has promoted 10 senior military and armed police officers to generals, the highest rank for officers in active service in the country.

The officers China`s Central Military Commission (CMC) included Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Chinese People`s Liberation Army (PLA) Wang Guanzhong, deputy head of the PLA`s General Political Department Yin Fanglong as well as PLA Navy Political Commissar Miao Hua.

At Friday`s promotion ceremony, Chinese President and CMC Chairman Xi Jinping presented the officers with certificates of command, reported Xinhua.
