London: In what may sound spooky to many, a British couple received a text message from their dead grandmother whom they had buried in her grave three years back, as per reports.
The couple revealed that they had buried their grandmother, late Lesley Emerson, three years ago along with her phone.
To comfort themselves, the couple used to send text messages to her number. However, one day they received a reply from their granny's number which read, 'I'm watching over you and it's all going to get better. Just push through.'
Although the couple had requested the phone company not to sell the number to anyone, it sold it to a new subscriber who was unaware of its spooky provenance.
“As we knew we would never get reply from her, we got shocked to see the text message sent from her number,” said Sheri Emerson.
