Cuban President Raul Castro will address the nation on relations with the United States at 12:00 pm (1700 GMT) Wednesday, state television said, after Havana freed US prisoner Alan Gross.

Havana: Cuban President Raul Castro will address the nation on relations with the United States at 12:00 pm (1700 GMT) Wednesday, state television said, after Havana freed US prisoner Alan Gross.

Castro`s address is scheduled simultaneously with one on US-Cuban relations by US President Barack Obama and after a US official said the jailed contractor was released at Washington`s request.
