Czech: Nearly, 70 far-right activists have been arrested in the anti-Roma protests on Sunday, as reported.

The protesters pelted stones on police who then retaliated with tear gas.

Amnesty International had cautioned earlier this month about the protests and had urged the police to protect Roma communities.

Around 600-800 protesters carried out the largest rally in Czech city of Ostava.

The Roma population in the Czech Republic has been estimated to be around 250,000 to 300,000.
