Egypt: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
left here on Monday winding up a short visit to Egypt where he
discussed ways to bring the Israeli-Palestinian stalled peace
process back on track.
President Hosni Mubarak-Netanyahu tete-a-tete session
of talks took up the now-running Egyptian and international
efforts aimed at creating a proper atmosphere to hold indirect
negotiations between the Palestinian and Israeli sides in a
bid to realise the two-state solution.
The Israeli premier was seen off at the airport by
Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit, South Sinai governor
Mohamed Abdel Fadeel Shousha and Israeli Ambassador here
Yitzhak Levanon.
