Bratislava: A rescue helicopter crashed in Slovakia Friday, killing four people on board, a health ministry spokesperson said.

The four -- a pilot, a doctor, and two rescue workers -- were killed while on their way to help a ten-year-old boy with a head injury, the health ministry said.

According to local media, the chopper`s propeller was caught in an electrical wire, sending the helicopter crashing into the Hornad river, near Hrabusice village in eastern Slovakia.
