Beijing: Children in Tibet will get free pre-school education, the China Daily reported on Thursday.
The move makes Tibet the first place in China to offer 15 years of free education, which includes three years of preschool, six years of primary school, three years of junior high school and three years of senior high school.
The government plans to make an investment of more than USD 400 million in education, the daily said.
