Gaddafi’s ex-spy chief handed to Libyan authorities

The former intelligence chief of Libya, Abdullah al-Senussi, was handed over by Mauritania to Libya.

Nouakchott: The former intelligence chief of Libya, Abdullah al-Senussi, was handed over by Mauritania to Libya on Wednesday as per BBC report.

Senussi was one of the key aides of Muammar Gaddafi. He is also on the wanted list of France and the International Criminal Court (ICC).

He fled Libya after Gaddafi’s regime toppled last year. He was arrested soon after his arrival in Mauritania.

After being handed over to the Libyan authorities, Senussi’s location is unknown.
