At least two people have been shot dead after a lone gunman fired indiscriminately in Germany's Bavaria region in southern province.

Berlin: At least two people have been shot dead after a lone gunman fired indiscriminately in Germany's Bavaria region in southern province.

The suspect, who fled by car, was arrested by the police after a manhunt was launched to nab him.

The incident occurred in Leutershausen municipality area in Ansbach district.

The gunman reportedly shot while driving in a silver Mercedes car.

The two victims – a man and an elderly woman – were shot in separate incidents of shooting by the gunman.
