Tehran: Iran plans to review diplomatic ties with Britain, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said on state television on Monday.
Mottaki said Tehran would soon make a final decision in line with its national interests on the nature of its relations with London.
Besides differences over Iran`s nuclear programmes, Tehran accuses Britain of being involved in protests against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad since his contested June re-election and interfering in the country`s internal affairs.
The Iranian Parliament last week presented a draft bill to sever diplomatic ties with Britain, which is the first to be evaluated by the Parliament`s foreign policy commission.
