Iran vows to hit any country that stages attack

Tehran: Iran will attack any country whose territory is used by "enemies" of the Islamic state to launch a military strike against its soil, the deputy head of Iran's elite Revolutionary Guards told the semi-official Fars news agency on Sunday.

"Any spot used by the enemy for hostile operations against Iran, will be subjected to retaliatory aggression by our armed forces," Hossein Salami said, during military maneuvers.

The Revolutionary Guards began the two-day ground exercises on Saturday as a show of military might as tension rises between Tehran and the West over Iran's disputed nuclear program.

Iranian media said it was a small-scale exercise in southern Iran.

The United States and Israel, Iran's arch enemies, have not ruled out a military strike against the country if diplomacy fails to resolve the standoff. Iran says its nuclear program is purely peaceful, rather than aimed at developing weapons.

Iran has warned that its response to any such strike will be "painful," threatening to target Israel, and US bases in the Gulf, along with closing the vital oil shipping route of the Strait of Hormuz.

SAME SPITTING WAS COMING FROM IRAQ AND LIBYA,RESULT WHOLE WORLD KNOWS.IRAN IS DIGGING THEIR OWN GRAVE BY TALKING NONSENSE WITHOUT ANY BACKING.IF THEY GUTS BY NOW THEY ATTACK ISRAEL FOR KILLING THEIR NUKE SCIENTISTS .JUST THREATENING TALKS ARE PUTTING IRAN ON VERY DANGEROUS PLACE AND IRAN DOES KNOWS SUNNI ARABIAN WORLD IS WAITING FOR THEIR DESTRUCTION.

Firstly, time will tell ``who is digging his own grave``. Although, I pray that the situation should not arise in that way in which millions of innocent people should lost their lives, like in Afghanistan and Iraq. As far as Iran is concerned, it is not a war monger that will attack any country. But, if will be attacked, surely, will give a befitted reply. So, it`s better that these war mongers (US, its allies and Israel) should desist interferring internal matters of other countries and should also desist from dictating terms. Do they have right to do so. They are not ``Thanedaar``. Whatsoever, the region in particular and the world in general, is facing is due to the hegemonic policies of these (war mongers) countries. They must change their behaviour.

Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the befitted reply of US and Israel`s hegemonic policies. Atleast with this threat the Muslim countries of the region (sold out to the US) will forced to think about their policies, who have allowed the US to make military bases on their territories for attacking Iran, Syria and Lebanon. The time has come that now all these Muslim countries should re-think about their permission to the US. Atleast they (Muslim countries) should ask the US either to move out their bases or forget to attack Iran from their territory. If they (Muslims countries) are interested that peace should prevail in the region, even they should not allow the US and its allies to use their airspace in attacking Iran.....
