Twenty-one people died Monday night in Iraq when a roadside bomb exploded, police said.

Baghdad: Twenty-one people died Monday night in Iraq when a roadside bomb exploded, police said.

The blast took place in eastern Diyala province. At least 50 others were injured.

The toll may increase as many of the injured were in serious condition, Xinhua reported.
