Pyongyang: In a footage on North Korean State TV, leader Kim Jong Un is seen limping to the stage at a ceremony held to mark the 20th death anniversary of his grandfather Kim Il-sung.

The 31-year old leader is seen with a mysterious limp while walking into the mausolem. Media reports suspect thatthe limp might be owing to an injury to his right leg.

In the video, Kim can be seen walking to the stage and then bending in the front of the statues of his grandfather Kim Il Sung and his father Kim Jong Il.

North Korea has been conducting missile tests with an increased frequency in last few weeks, in defiance of a UN ban.

North has been apparently peeved at China`s snub, as Xi Jinping chose South Korea over North and visited Seoul.
