ISI continues to support LeT: US

Washington: Top US lawmakers have accused Pakistan's spy agency ISI of using terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba as its strategic asset against India.

"The fact remains that Pakistani and US strategic interests diverge on certain issues -- especially those concerning Islamist terrorist groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, which the Pakistani ISI continues to view as a strategic asset vis-a-vis India," said Congressman Steve Chabot.

Chabot, the Chairman of the Middle East and South Asia Subcommittee of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, had convened a hearing on US foreign policy in South Asia.

"Years of Pakistani mistrust of the US has resulted in a relationship in which cooperation on certain issues is often accompanied by obstruction on others," he said.

Chabot said despite improved cooperation with certain elements of the Pakistani government, the positive benefits of Kerry-Lugar-Berman have not yet spilled over into other arenas such as security in any meaningful way.

Since every Tom,Dick and Harry knows that Pakistan is hands in glove with all the major Terrorists Organisations and has nurtured them as their strategic assets,this is making news only because it is emanating from the us.ISI is going to continue with its policy of state terror come what may.In all the probability the ISI Will continue to support them in future too.THERE IS NO SOLUTION TO THAT AT ALL.They have Nuclear Arsenal,which is going to land in the hands of the terrorists eventually.The international community(read the US)knows all that very well But is watching all that helplessly because their front line partner to fight the terror is fooling them by playing the DOUBLE GAME and MILKING THEM DAY AND NIGHT.SCARY,VERY SCARY.???

because pakistani and indian govt is not purchasing arms from pentagon/usa and today we all know usa is in economical turmoil. thats why they are try to confuse the indians. we (PAKISTAN) are 1/5 in size of india, any adventurism will counter attack us, why should we do these kinds nonsense with indian. sab se achi baat hai, recently indian/pakistani prime minister`s meeting. although pakistan lost the game but won the heart of ppl of india, tum dekhte reh jaoga. jao arms kisi aur mulk ko becho. bewakoof banana hai to other islamic country hai. jao jao jao. and jaago indians jaago pakistanis.
