London: Even as Islamic State (IS) militants are being killed by the US-led anti-terror coalition air strikes, a middle-aged British mother-of-two and former rock band member who had recently joined the ISIS, is luring teenage girls to Syria through Twitter with the promise of an 'awesome life' as a jihadi bride, Daily Mail reported.

As per the report, Sally Jones, 45, from Kent in southeast England, mother-of-two is luring young girls to Syria through Twitter with the promise of 'an awesome life'.

The Muslim Convert Sally Jones is further quoted by the daily as saying that she told a reporter posing as a fictional 17-year-old 'Aisha' that she would 'never want for money again' and live a good life if she made the journey to Syria to become a jihadi bride.

Moreover, security experts estimate that hundreds of Britons have gone to the Middle East to join the IS militant group, the most brutal to emerge out of Syria's bloody civil war and the most successful.

The well-funded group controls large swathes of Syria and Iraq and has proved adept at using social media to boost its profile, attract recruits and terrify enemies with images of mass executions and battlefield victories.

The Daily Mail had earlier alleged that Jones had travelled to Syria after an online romance with convicted 20-year-old computer hacker Junaid Hussain, and is now based in the IS stronghold of Raqa.

As per a British media Jones had also said that she wants to behead Christians with a "blunt knife".

Earlier, one more female British jihadist reportedly in Syria, known as Khadijah Dare, purportedly tweeted that she wanted to be the first woman to kill a British or US "terrorist".

However, in the recent times the US has upped the ante against the terror group with air strikes by its war planes. The air strikes began in early August after ISIS fighters began targeting ethnic Yazidis and launching attacks toward the Kurdish regional capital of Irbil.

Th Iraqi and Kurdish forces have also launched offensive against the ISIS in a major way.

US president Barack Obama had also vowed to destroy the ISIS.
