The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack Tuesday on a Shiite mosque in the Yemen capital that according to doctors killed one person and left five others wounded.

Sanaa: The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack Tuesday on a Shiite mosque in the Yemen capital that according to doctors killed one person and left five others wounded.

In a brief statement posted on jihadist websites, the group said it had "taken revenge" against Shiite Huthi rebels who have seized control of large swathes of the country.
