Israel arrests 13 Palestinians in West Bank

Israeli soldiers used tear gas while arresting 13 Palestinians in West Bank.

Nablus: Israeli soldiers on Thursday arrested 13 Palestinians in the West Bank, using tear gas during the arrests, the Army said.

Troops used tear gas to disperse Palestinians who hurled rocks while the soldiers were conducting the arrests of eight people in Beit Furik village near Nablus.

Palestinian security sources said the eight, two of them women, were members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The Israeli Army said a further five Palestinians were arrested in other villages near Nablus.
