Jerusalem: Thousands gathered to mourn the death of three Israeli teens who were abducted and brutally murdered in West Bank last month, as per reports on Wednesday.
The Israeli government is mulling action against the terror group Hamas suspected to be behind the gruesome incident.
Even as thousands bid tearful farewell to the teens, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the killers of the teens as “heinous murderers,” the BBC reported.
Shortly after the body of the teens were found, Netanyahu had promised to take action and vowed that “Hamas will pay.”
However, Hamas has denied being involved in the incident.
The bodies of Naftali Frenkel (16), Gilad Shaar (16) and Eyal Yifrach (19) were recovered during the search operation near the city of Hebron at a distance of 10 minutes from the spot where they were last seen during hitch-hiking before they went missing on June 12.
They were found buried under the dirt road and appeared to have been shot dead.
