John Kerry says 'tough issues' but 'progress' in Iran talks

US Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday that nuclear talks with Iran were facing "tough issues" but that "progress" was being made ahead of a March 31 deadline for the outlines of a major deal.

Washington: US Secretary of State John Kerry said Thursday that nuclear talks with Iran were facing "tough issues" but that "progress" was being made ahead of a March 31 deadline for the outlines of a major deal.

"We`re pushing some tough issues, but we made progress," Kerry told reporters in the Swiss city of Lausanne during a break from talks involving Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif all week.
