Kenya train crashes into homes in Nairobi slum, many trapped
Several people are said to have been injured after a cargo train derailed and crashed into homes in a slum in Kenyan capital Nairobi, reports said.

Nairobi: Several people are said to have been injured after a cargo train derailed and crashed into homes in Kibera slum in Kenyan capital Nairobi, Kenya Red Cross said.
The derailment is said to have taken place on Sunday morning and several are reported to be trapped inside the damaged houses. At least five casualties were taken to Kenyatta National Hospital, tweeted Kenya Red Cross.

The rescue operations have started and St John Ambulance and the Red Cross have rushed their teams to the site of accident, said an international news site.
