Militant leader killed in Russia`s Dagestan

Moscow: Russian security forces have killed
the leader of a militant group in the volatile Caucasian
republic of Dagestan.

Mukhuchiev aka "Abu Umar" was allegedly involved
in several terror acts and murders of civilians and security
forces.

The militant leader and his wife were killed after he
opened fire at security personnel forces, Interfax
agency reported quoting National Anti-Terrorism Committee
(NAC) spokesman Nikolai Sintsov.
