Mr President, don't touch my girlfriend: Chicago voter tells Barack Obama!

Washington: US President Barack Obama might have got many an unpleasant reactions from world leaders while discussing significant topics like Ukraine crisis or China's South China Sea issues.

But he would never have thought in his dreams that someone would warn him to keep his hands off the person's girlfriend.

The warning (read wisecrack) was issued by the boyfriend of a woman named Aia Cooper, who was standing along side Obama while casting vote at the Martin Luther King Junior community centre in Chicago on Monday, reported a news agency.

The boyfriend named Mike Jones decided to cash in on the situation humorously and quipped a crack wise: "Mr. President, don't touch my girlfriend."

The witty President retorted back, saying, "I really wasn't planning on it...There's an example of a brother just embarrassing me for no reason."

Explaining how the young woman would recount the story to her friends, Obama added in jest, "I can't believe Mike, he is such a fool. But fortunately, the President was nice about it, so it's alright".

Cooper later apologised for her boyfriend's joke, but the President took the situation in good humour and after voting also hugged her, along with a peck on cheek.
