honesty and their credibility to investigate the events of
last Wednesday," the agency reported yesterday.
The commission will investigate "the terrible and
unacceptable violations that made some protesters innocent
"President Mubarak ... assured that he shares the pain of
all the families of these victims," the agency said.
Mubarak supporters rushed into Cairo`s Tahrir Square last
Wednesday while it was occupied by opposition protesters,
sparking clashes that left at least 11 dead and nearly 1,000
injured according to official figures.
