Brussels: EU leaders agreed to meet for an extraordinary summit on July 16 to decide how to fill key posts, the European Union said on Friday.

At the July session EU leaders -- who nominated Jean Claude Juncker to head the Commission at a Friday summit -- will name a replacement for EU Council President, Herman Van Rompuy and the EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton.
