Wellington: MS Dhoni is arguably the best Indian skipper of all time. Under his captaincy, India won both the limited over World Cup trophies. As a leader, Dhoni has also proved his mettle while leading one of the IPL franchises – Chennai Super Kings, in the lucrative Indian Premier League and Champions League T20. Well-known as a gambler on the field, most of the times he goes by his instinct, which usually pay rich dividends to India. But in the last two months, India has been playing poor cricket under his captaincy. Since December, they have played two Test matches and seven ODIs. But failed to win any of the matches, even after being one of the top ranked teams in the world. Though he scored decently in the last two ODI series, down the order, but couldn`t play a single match-wining knock for India. After, the humiliating 4-0 defeat against New Zealand, many arm-chair critics are now finding flaws in the leadership of Dhoni. India was literally thrashed by the Black Caps in every department and Dhoni was certainly outfoxed by his counterpart, Brendon McCullum. Dhoni is also facing the criticism for being biased towards few players. At a time when, India is going through a poor patch, it`s the right time for Dhoni to change few of his tactics to turn the fortunes of Team India, in all formats of the game.
