Abuja: A Nigerian drug trafficker has died on

make an emergency landing in India, the African country`s
National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has said.

NDLEA said 25-year-old smuggler Chilaka Ogbonna Emmanuel

Murtala Muhammed Airport in Lagos when he died onboard.

The pilot of the aircraft was forced to make an emergency
landing in India where he was confirmed dead at a hospital,

Last week, NDLEA prevented a 39-year-old suspected major
drug trafficker from smuggling 1.5 kg of cocaine to India.

The suspect, George Mike Adelabu, was apprehended during
