NY Police Commissioner issues honeymoon invitation to Wills, Kate

Raymond Kelly was asked by British consulate to send a taped greeting.

New York: New York’s Police Commissioner has issued an invitation to Prince William and Kate Middleton to spend their honeymoon in the Big Apple.

Raymond Kelly was asked by the British consulate there to send a taped greeting to the newlyweds, and he obliged in a video surrounded by a dozen of New York’s Finest, including two officers born in the UK.

“May we suggest a destination honeymoon,” the New York Post quoted him as saying.

“It’s an island. Millions of your American cousins call it home. And the Dutch gave up all claims years ago. Come visit any time!” he stated.

Then in unison the NYPD crew yelled, “Congratulations!”
