Washington: After routing him in the presidential polls, Barack Obama will meet his vanquished rival Mitt Romney over lunch tomorrow, their first face-to-face encounter since the election.
"Thursday, Governor Romney will have a private lunch at the White House with President Obama in the Private Dining Room. It will be the first opportunity they have had to visit since the election," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said.
There will be no press coverage of the meeting, Carney said in a statement.
