Obama to visit S Korea next month

Seoul: South Korea says President Barack Obama
is planing to make a two-day trip to Seoul next month for
talks with South Korean President Lee Myung-bak.

Lee`s office said in a statement early today that Obama
will visit Seoul November 18-19 as part of an Asian tour that
will take him to Japan, Singapore and China.

Obama is expected to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic
Cooperation summit in Singapore.

Lee`s office says the two leaders will discuss the North
Korean nuclear issue, as well as ways to boost relations,
overcome the global financial crisis and how to combat climate
change.
