Over 120,000 Syrian refugees in Turkey

The Bashar al-Assad regime has been locked in a bloody conflict with anti-government rebel forces since March 2011.

Moscow: There are over 120,000 Syrian refugees living in Turkey due to the ongoing conflict in that country. According to Turkish prime minister`s press service, a total of about 169,000 refugees crossed into Turkey since the outbreak of fighting in Syria. Almost 49,000 have since returned to their homes and 594 are undergoing treatment at Turkish hospitals.
