Islamabad: Fatality in the bomb blast outside the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) office in Pakistan's Mardan town reached 25 by Tuesday evening.
A splinter faction of the Pakistani Taliban claimed the responsibility of carrying out the attack that left more than 30 others injured. The condition of many of them is said to be critical.
According to Radio Pakistan, the suicide attacker rammed an explosive-laden motorcycle into the gate of the office on the Mardan-Charsadda Road.
The attack is one of the deadliest since the massacre of 150 pupils and teachers in Peshawar in December last.
