Palin penned notes on her palm for Tea Party speech

Palin penned notes on her palm for Tea Party speech Nashville: During a question-and-answer session that followed her speech to participants at the National Tea Party convention, former Alaska governor and 2008 Republic vice-presidential nominee Sarah Palin appeared to be mocking President Barack Obama's use of a teleprompter by reading notes off her hand.

According to a Huffington Post report, Palin referred to President Obama as “a guy with a teleprompter”, while depending on her own “palm pilot”.

Palin’s appearance at the Tea Party convention was closely watched as a potential signal of her political future and the extent to which the convention would embrace her.

Aligning herself firmly with the Tea Party, she urged the 1,100 people who had gathered in a hotel ballroom not to let the movement be defined by any one leader.

“This is about the people, and it’s bigger than any one king or queen of a Tea Party, and it’s a lot bigger than any charismatic guy with a teleprompter,” she said.

That was just one of several digs at President Obama.

“How’s that hopey-changey thing working out for you?” she asked at one point.

She criticised Obama for allowing deficits to rise, for “apologising for America” in speeches in other countries, and for allowing a man with explosives to board a plane headed for the United States on Christmas Day, saying the President was weak in the fight against terrorism.

“To win that war, we need a commander in chief, not a professor of law,” she said.

Why can`t republicans learn. You can`t keep promoting morons like Sarah Palin based on ideoligy and no substance. There are plenty smart republicans, like Palenty of Minnasota or Romney. But as a democrat I would love to see Palin as your nominee.

in response to shannon kieta- instead of spending your time and energy on bashing the president (i would bet you were one who was ``bashing`` him for using a teleprompter) why don`t you contribute yourself to fixing the problems of the world, as you so eloquently put it ....``If anyone thinks they can fix this world any quicker, let`s see what you got!``

She ``spoofs`` the President`s teleprompter
and she`s taken to task for it? Absurd! I
hope I live long enough to see this lady in the Presiden`ts chair! I very much doubt SHE will try to give our country away, put our children and grandchildren in a``debt coffin``, legalize crime (ILLegal aliens). I look forward to some COMMON SENSE in
the White House for a real ``CHANGE``! , you
betcha! And maybe Alan Keyes could be
her V-P, or vice-versa? Bill Clark, Stilwell,

Please people! Everyone is making such a stink about Sarah Plain writing a few little words on her hand to remind her of things she wanted to say, and everyone wants to bury her? But I bet if Obama did it, it would be ``Cute``! WTH? The world can`t stand it that she is the whole package, she is smart, beautiful, rich, and knows what she is talking about. If anyone thinks they can fix this world any quicker, let`s see what you got! Obama sure ain`t doing us any good!
