Plane makes emergency landing in Russia

The plane made an emergency landing at an airport in Siberia after flying into a flock of birds.

Moscow: An Airbus A-320 plane with 150 passengers on board made an emergency landing at an airport in Russia`s Siberia region after flying into a flock of birds.

The plane landed successfully at the Tolmachevo airport in Novosibirsk city on Sunday.

It was on its way to Krasnodar in southern Russia, a transport official said.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The crew took the decision to return after the collision with the birds caused increased vibration.
