London: The Queen provides the best moral leadership to Britons, ahead of politicians and church leaders including the Archbishop of Canterbury, a survey indicated on Sunday.
Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge -- Prince William and Kate -- provide the best moral leadership to Britons, according to a YouGov survey for The Sunday Times.
The survey, in which respondents were asked to choose three or four names from a list, found 34 per cent of people see the Queen as giving the strongest moral lead.
Interestingly, the question was posed before the Queen's speech was broadcast on Christmas Day, which topped the TV viewing chart in the UK.
In second place were William and Kate, who were named by 30 per cent.
Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani Nobel Peace Prize laureate who was shot by terrorists for defying the Taliban, was third with 19 per cent.
Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby was placed fourth with 15 per cent people naming him, while British Prime Minister?David Cameron was fifth (8 per cent).
