Republican White House hopeful Rick Perry has said that he has raised an impressive USD 17 million in seven weeks since announcing his 2012 presidential bid.

In a statement, RickPerry.org Inc. said it raised more
than USD 17 million for the primary race between August 13 and

cash on hand. All but approximately USD 50,000 raised will go
towards the primary race, the Perry campaign said.
Romney`s campaign is said to have raised between USD
11 million and USD 13 million.
The Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign also announced
that it has raised more than USD 8 million in the third
quarter from more than 100,000 unique donors more than five
times the number of total donors to the campaign of Texas
Governor Rick Perry.
