London: Russian President Dmitry Medvedev showed off his dancing skills and played patty-cake during an official school visit.
During his campaign trail, the 46-year-old indulged in a spot ballet dancing and a messed up round of patty cake with an eager young fan in the northwestern city of Petrozavodsk.
At first he tried his level best to refuse the dance troop’s request.
“I will not dance, I still have meetings to run,” the Daily Mail quoted him as saying.
But it was futile as moments later he gave in to his urges and leapt onto the floor to dance arm-in-arm with a leotard-wearing ballerina before playing a game of patty-cake.
“The dance was really straightforward, but anyway the president constantly messed up the patty-cake, which looked rather absurd online,” the Russian news portal NewsRu reported.
