Russian software mogul`s kidnapped son freed Moscow: The kidnapped son of Russian software mogul Yevgeny Kaspersky was freed by security agencies in an operation carried out near Moscow, city police spokesperson Viktor Biryukov said on Sunday.

20-year-old Ivan Kaspersky, the son of the owner of world famous anti-virus and computer security software company 'Kaspersky Lab', was abducted on April 19 in Moscow and the kidnappers had demanded USD 4.3 million ransom for his release.

Police have arrested five people during the operation, he said. According to Biznes FM radio, Yevgeny Kaspersky, trained in the ex-KGB School had sought the help of his friends now working in FSB ? Federal Security Service in seeking the release of Ivan. Biryukov said Ivan was in "satisfactory" condition. He added one of the five arrested already had a criminal record. Ivan Kaspersky, a student of Moscow University, was working in the InfoWatch company set up by his mother after divorce with his father, is said to have a fortune of USD 800 million, according to Forbes.
