London: In a terrible attack, a 31-year-old woman stabbed her boyfriend with a broken bottle and then burnt his genitals with hot iron after they had sex.
Kenya Alozie, who originally hails from Nigeria, attacked her partner at a flat in Plumstead in South London without any warning, dailystar.co.uk reported.
The victim, who was in his 30s, suffered deep cuts and burns to his legs and genitals as a result of the attack and has had surgery in hospital.
He was left in excruciating agony when Alozie attacked him.
At the time of the attack Alozie had just finished her studies at Coventry University, her student visa was about to expire and she was due to return to Nigeria.
Nine days later she was arrested at the Heathrow Airport while she was boarding a plane to Nigeria.
Alozie has been jailed for nine years.
"Alozie committed a calculated and pre-planned attack. The sentence imposed clearly reflects the seriousness of this extremely violent attack," the report quoted detective Duncan Clark as saying.
Alozie was sentenced at Woolwich Crown Court this week after being found guilty.
