La Rambla: Several people were injured in a shootout in Barcelona’s main tourist district here on Tuesday, according to media reports.
According to initial reports, during the manhunt for the attackers, police reportedly killed one of the two gunmen.
The incident took place on the intersection between the La Rambla and Pinto Fortuny Street, according to an English news channel.
Two gunmen, who are yet to be identified, have allegedly opened fire at the guests of the local Silken Hotel.
The suspects managed to flee the scene, with manhunt currently underway in the capital of Spain’s autonomous community of Catalonia.
Meanwhile, police have cordoned off the entire area.
