Kiev: Six civilians were killed in heavy fighting that erupted on Sunday in the main rebel stronghold of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, city hall officials said on Monday.
Sustained shelling and artillery fire was reported throughout much of Sunday around the city of Donetsk and its airport, despite a ceasefire signed by the government and rebels 10 days ago.
