Six killed in Nepal mishap

At least six persons, including an 11-year-old girl, were killed and 35 others injured today when the bus they were travelling in veered off a road and rolled down a gorge near Tiber border in central Nepal.

Kathmandu: At least six persons, including an 11-year-old girl, were killed and 35 others injured today when the bus they were travelling in veered off a road and rolled down a gorge near Tiber border in central Nepal.

Four people died on the spot, and two others succumbed to their injuries wile undergoing treatment, according to police.

The 35 injured, of which six are critical, have been admitted to nearby Dhulikhel Hospital.

The bus heading towards Tatopani fell into the 15-metre ravine in Kavre district, 100 km east of Kathmandu.
The ill-fated bus had left Kathmandu this morning.
