Kavaratti: Three suspected Somalian nationals, who landed in Lakshadweep`s Minicoy Island Thursday morning after drifting in the sea for over 30 days, have been hospitalised, police said.
The trio claimed that they were Somalian fishermen and had been drifting in the waters since the past 36 days in a small boat, Lakshadweep Deputy Superintendent of Police Umesh Kumar told reporters.

"They are very weak and can hardly walk or talk," the officer said, adding the three have been admitted to the Government hospital at Minicoy.
The trio would be interrogated after their condition improves, Kumar said.
